ALPHA WOMEN & MARIJUANA - INTRODUCING LINDA SAMPSON
Linda Sampson - Marijuana Alpha Female
Meet Linda Sampson, the dynamic CEO of rapidly growing Marapharm Ventures Inc., an innovative British Columbian Marijuana company. The company is in the developmental stage, is publicly traded with a current market cap of $75 million (Jan - 2017) plus or minus.
Linda is an example of a normal, attractive and sociable woman, who has demonstrated the ability to manage her way, very well, in a male dominated business. Contrary to popular notion, many of the Alpha woman of today are not the prototypical abrasive feminist hell bent on trumpeting their gender's cause. Rather, they are smart and equally comfortable with both men and women.
Marapharm's strategy is to identify cannabis related opportunities, research direction and location of sales, build facilities and acquire licenses in the United States, The company is currently focused on opportunities in Nevada and Washington.
Marapharm sees the North American market for MMJ being at least $11.5 billion by 2018. In Canada medical marijuana sales were $144 million in 2014 and is growing at a rate of more than 20% per year. Linda's team projects the Canadian market to be $1.3 billion in 2014 for excluding recreational marijuana.
These numbers are not far-fetched, given that the current sales rate in Colorado alone stands (2016) at about $1.1 billion - for a population of only 5 million and change. Realistically, with full on legalization, Canada should expect the country's total marijuana sales to approach $7-8 billion within 5 years, based on the Colorado, California, Washington and Oregon numbers.

Marapharm has acquired shares and rights to acquire up to 15 million shares of Veritas, after taking into account 10 million share purchase warrants that we have. As a result of the investment, Marapharm will have the right to appoint members to the Veritas board of directors."
There's great synergy with Veritas and Marapharm and the additional investment in the share purchase warrants will provide additional capital to Veritas as they execute on their business plan." Linda Sampson, Marapharm CEO.

Marijuana Automated Vending Machines
"Bank machines work well (and securely) inside a bank so it’s reasonable to think that a cannabis machine will work well inside a cannabis store."
Marapharm Ventures Inc. purchased Automated Cannabis (ACM) Vending Machines
This ACM system provides for point-of-sale transactions, inventory control, secure product storage, 24/7 availability of product, confidentiality, and minimal costs. ATM's are expected to be a lucrative "additional" source of revenue.
ACMs will be located in retail outlets / dispensaries in Washington and Nevada.
Marijuana ACMs will be stocked in states where Marapharm owns cultivation facilities and is permitted.
In other states, ACM's will be leased to growers or leased to dispensaries under revenue participation agreements.
2 pilot ACMs are in testing, early 2017.
The worry with developing companies is adequate cash and leadership expertise to move from want to be, to actual profitable production. It remains to be seen if Marapharm can overcome that many hurdles and the battles that surely come with the territory. At this point, what Linda and Marapharm have managed to do is nothing short of miraculous. But now the going gets tough, the rubber needs to hit the road, and profits need to flow. Hopefully, Linda has a contingency plan if things don't go their way all the way. Armed with enough cash and a few honest and tough lawyers, we see little likelihood of a fail. Good luck with it Marapharm.
